Lex Rex President Alexander Haberbush files amicus brief in voting rights case

Updated: May 10, 2023

Acting on behalf of J. Kenneth Blackwell (currently Senior Fellow for Human Rights and Constitutional Governance at the Family Research Council) and in partnership with the Public Interest Legal Foundation, yesterday the Lex Rex Institute’s president, Attorney Alexander Haberbush and Attorney J. Christian Adams of the Public Interest Legal Foundation submitted an amicus brief in a case involving minority voting rights in San Francisco County. San Francisco’s policy of extending local voting rights to resident noncitizens, the brief argues, dilutes the votes of citizens, with disproportionate effects on the city’s black population.
